They taste so close to being made with regular all-purpose flour, without that gummy texture a lot of one-for-one gluten-free flours can give.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gather Your Pancake making Supplies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m breaking this down as much as I can, so hopefully if you&#8217;ve never made homemade pancakes before, this will make sense! But if it doesn&#8217;t, ask your questions in the comments and I&#8217;ll help the best I can!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<p><strong>The equipment you will need: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One Medium to Large <strong>Bowl<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Measuring <strong>Cups <\/strong>&amp; <strong>Spoons<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>whisk<\/strong>&#8211; (this makes combining the ingredients together a little easier, a spoon will work if you don&#8217;t have one).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Large <strong>Skillet <\/strong>or <strong>Griddle <\/strong>&#8211; <em>see recipe notes<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>Spatula<\/strong>&#8211; (sometimes referred to as a turner).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>Rubber Spatula<\/strong>&#8211; (to scrape all of the batter out of the bowl, not necessary but really nice to have).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1\/2 cup of <strong>Whole Oat Flou<\/strong>r- ( make sure its certified gluten-free if you&#8217;re not ok with cross contamination).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 cup <strong>Gluten-free Flour Mix<\/strong>&#8211; (I&#8217;ve only tested this recipe with <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.kingarthurbaking.com\/items\/gluten-free-measure-for-measure-flour\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/shop.kingarthurbaking.com\/items\/gluten-free-measure-for-measure-flour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">King Author Measure-for-Measure<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 teaspoons <strong>Baking Powder<\/strong>&#8211; (if you double this recipe, you don&#8217;t need to double this).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon <strong>Salt<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Tablespoon <strong>Sugar<\/strong>&#8211; (optional, see recipe notes).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 <strong>Egg<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 Tablespoon <strong>Neutral tasting o<\/strong>il- ( I use light olive oil).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 cup <strong>Milk<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 teaspoon <strong>Vanilla Extract<\/strong>&#8211; If the mixture is too thick, add a small amount of milk, if it&#8217;s too thin, add a bit more flour.
