To make a box of tea with sweet messages for your valentines, you will need to make the tea bags first. Luckily, I’ve got you covered!

This post will take you step-by-step on how to fold, fill, and secure your own tea bag from coffee filters and includes three different blend recipes to try.

Not sure what kind of teas to put in your bags? I highly recommend these from Mountain Rose Herbs.

These adorable tea tags are a great way to send a sweet message and label the different flavors of teas.

Cute out the tea tags
  • Fold each tag in half and use the other side of the tag to write in the flavor of the tea.
Write the flavor on the tag
  • Tie a knot at the tip of the loose ends of the string on the tea bags so that the string will stay in place.
  • Staple the tag to the string, and you’re done!

You can also use these printable tags to add to already made tea bags if you don’t have the time to make your own.

Click on the link below to download and print* these tags for free. It also include a blank version to fill in the tags yourself!

*You are free to print and share these printable tags with your friends and family, but you may not sell them as your own. While printing make sure to print at 100% to get the correct size. I recommend using 28lb paper for better quality.

I made my husband 6 sweet fern and orange bags, and 6 with black locust flowers from things we foraged over the summers. If you want to try making your own teas from flowers, read this post!
